Bike magazine review
Though Da Kine got its start in the ski and surf business, the company has made an impressive push these past few years into the world of mountain bikes. In fact, big-time freeriders Andrew Shandro and Dave Watson are using Da Kine's product, showcasing the route the company is going. One example of Da Kine's new focus is the Cross X glove.
The Cross X is a full-finger glove designed with the gravity junkie in mind. It features a Clarino synthetic leather palm, thermo-formed neoprene protection on the topside of the glove and Airprene-padded wrist and knuckle panels. The glove also comes with more traditional attributes, like a terry cloth thumb panel and silicone gripper fingertips. Whether or not you can clean the pros' lines or clear that step-down road gap, these gloves
should still fit into your arsenal of protective gear just fine either way.--Pat Corran
Description
The burliest gloves out there: the Cross X is built to handle anything thrown in your path. I liked the Cross X gloves from the get-go, but found them a little hot for summer rides. When protection is key, go with the Cross X.

Riders review
A good look at the Cross X gloves will reveal what you've learned to expect from Dakine: excellent attention to quality, detail and style.
